I had the pleasure to work with Austin with Make Something Media, and Austin has phenomenal skills in videography--but what really sets him apart from other videographers is his ability to listen really well and catch the vision of his clients. We had him out to shoot a number of video pieces for the Youth For Christ National Leadership Conference, and some of the pieces needed to be shot and edited very quickly, some he could take more time with. He made a plan to get everything shot and edited in the timeframe we needed it, and each piece turned out just how we were hoping (or better) because he understood what we were looking for, asked good clarifying questions, and brought our needs to life. He has the ability to take direction, or cast vision if needed. Austin's work greatly enhanced the conference. They had never done this before and they said "go for it". I interviewed a couple of videographers and in the end decided to go with Austin. Not only did he capture all of the events at the conference that we wanted him to capture, he was flexible when we needed him to do something we hadn't previously discussed. Most impressive of all was the turnaround time. Our conference ended and he had the video to me the next day! The current president of our Board of Directors said that Austin's video was both "awesome" and "phenomenal", and our immediate past president said "I love this!"
