It’s ALWAYS a weekend that something bad happens! I originally was trying to get in touch with Blue Pearl as what I thought was the only after-hours emergency option in this area. They require a phone call prior to arrival and, by the grace of God, they NEVER answered the phone after 5 or 6 attempts. Moving on, I then saw St Francis was open. Nervous and shaky as the phone was ringing, I was immediately relieved when a friendly voice answered and was happy to help. They could see him now! I was able to drop him off fully expecting bad news, and prepared myself for the worst. Dr Cheeks evaluated my old boy and was SO thorough and attentive. She got him (and me!) fixed up and feeling better, gave him fluids and pain meds, ran bloodwork, and set up a game plan to make some life-changes to carry him through hopefully a few more Read More

It is with a heavy heart that I type this and say I had to make the choice today to let my Heidi baby go to Heaven. I brought her back to the states from Germany in 2013. At her time of passing she was 11 (almost 12 because her birthday would have been in the next month), was an indoor cat only and was not once sick. I suffer from depression and anxiety and believe you me, she knew how to touch my soul and make everything better with a cuddle and a look from her beautiful eyes. She had the cutest character and I really just feel she was a tiny furry human. But a compassionate one that only knew love. The reason I am taking a moment of this day to write a review is because I give 100% praises to St Francis Animal Hospital. Beginning with the staff and then finally with the doctor, there was nothing but honesty, patience and kindness through the whole process. The care and compassion of the entire staff amazed me, they made it as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. Since then I have now transferred my baby boy to them and he had his visit a few days ago and they still continue to impress me. So many other places care more about money than they do for animals, but I have never gotten that impression from St. Francis. They genuinely care about your pet’s wellbeing. Dr Garner came in to go over his findings and is AMAZING. He spent plenty of time with us to go over his thoughts and concerns and was very transparent. He answered all of our questions and discussed various plans moving forward. We have always had a great experience here with other providers but Dr Garner is one of a kind and will be moving our animals here for ongoing care. Read More

I have made friends here, found my pet sitter here, they have gone above and beyond to make sure my dog is cared for when she comes in, and they have even helped me make flexible payments when I was struggling to pay from another country. Dr. Landes is another important part of the team, and she and her staff do chiropractic adjustments and red light laser therapy on my dog for her arthritis. I so appreciate her intelligence and resourceful ways in tackling all available healing methods. Dr. Garner is especially brilliant, invaluable, and a core part of the foundation of this business. To have lost 2 of our most loved fur babies in less than 8 months has been so hard but thank you so much for your compassion this past week with Riley and thank you especially Dr. Garner for working with him these last few months to help us have some extra time with our boy.
