I was admitted into ICU through the ER for Acute Traumatic Kidney Injury. I am a Dr. I received outstanding care by all whom I came in contact with. Most notably my nursing team. Especially Jesus, Tina and Cheryl. Wow, they were amazing, caring, compassionate and listening. They really cared for me and about me. I miss them all !!! And I wish them well. Robert from food services did did an excellent job. I also enjoyed meeting the Director of Nursing. Well done team and all with excellence. I would most highly rate this hospital, ER and ICU should you ever need their services. The nurse to patient ratio is mind blowing, especially coming from the NorthEast. Read More

I was treated very kindly by everyone. The main thing I noticed is how everyone worked as a team which made me feel very comfortable. It helped with my Nervousness of the surgery.... Carmen, Ashley, two other nurses were kind. Dr. Miller, anesthesiologist made me feel confident in skill and was particularly compassionate which is very unusual for his profession. As first-time parents, this was one of the most important and emotional moments of our lives, and the entire team made sure we felt supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way. Beatty developed preeclampsia and had to remain in the hospital for five days due to elevated blood pressure. What truly stood out was how closely the doctors, surgeons, and nurses monitored her condition. The RN teams on both the day and night shifts were phenomenal, constantly checking in, explaining medications, and making sure she was stable and comfortable. Their attentiveness and professionalism gave us tremendous peace of mind during a stressful time. The birthing team was outstanding. They handled everything with such calm, expertise, and compassion while always prioritizing the safety of both Beatty and baby Elijah. The Surgery staff at UCF Lake Nona were wonderful - everything was clean and I enjoyed the experience. (You have to understand the Knee Replacement excitement.) The nurse staff and doctors were amazing and made me feel very much cared for, and was willing to help and answer any questions when it was needed. Thank you to Dr Bautista and her staff for making sure the birth of my son was an easy one without complications, and a few nurses that stood out me and was Yves(Eve), Monique, and there was another night nurse but I can not remember her name. Hilary, Miranda, Dorothea, Lenora, Monique, Dara, Lillian, Jessica, Brittney, Cathy, Amber, Julia (and I know I’m forgetting some) were all so kind and attentive. There are more lovely, caring nurses there than I can even count, including the lactation team. We felt so supported the entire time. Amy Lamb, RN IBCLC, was such a gift to us. She is unbelievably patient and just so gentle in the way she shows up. I never once felt rushed, dismissed, or judged. She takes her time and makes sure you actually understand what you’re doing and why, which meant so much when everything felt new and overwhelming. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, but what stood out even more was how much she genuinely cares. You can feel that this isn’t just a job for her. She truly wants to help you and your baby, and she goes above and beyond to do that.
