After trying to conceive for years it finally happened, and my husband and I couldn't think of a better hospital to deliver at. Not only do they have an extensive NICU and the BEST in the country, they have some of the best doctors and nurses on site. We had an induction scheduled for 12/28, arrived on time and signed in, went straight to the induction floor and began the journey to seeing our boy in person. Unfortunately things took a slight turn and we went down to the L&D floor because our son was being a bit of a butt...from there they determined that a C-section was in order to safely deliver our son because he was going into distress. The OB and nurses who performed my C-section were stellar. Of course I was nervous, nobody WANTS to be cut open. After the delivery my husband got to transition with our son to the recovery rooms and I met them there. Unfortunately our little dude needed some extra help so off to the NICU he went. Down in the NICU he was given round the clock ca Read More

The nurses and doctors at Winnie Palmer are truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with compassion, patience, and genuine care. Every nurse took the time to explain what was happening, checked on me often, and made sure I felt safe and supported—never rushed, never dismissed. The doctors were knowledgeable, calm, and reassuring, answering questions thoroughly and treating me like a whole person, not just a chart. During what can be an overwhelming and emotional experience, the entire team made a difficult day feel manageable and humane. Winnie Palmer is full of professionals who clearly care deeply about their patients. I’m incredibly grateful for the skill, kindness, and humanity shown to me, and I would trust this team again without hesitation. Read More

I recently had to visit the hospital due to a kidney infection while pregnant, and I want to express my sincere gratitude for the care I received. As soon as I arrived, they immediately took my vitals and brought me into a room without delay. I truly appreciated not having to wait, especially since I was in pain and concerned about my health and my baby. The staff was very nice, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout my entire stay. When it was decided that I needed to stay overnight for further treatment, they arranged everything quickly and brought me upstairs right away. I never felt ignored or overlooked. Every nurse and doctor treated me with kindness and professionalism, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Thank you to the entire team for taking such good care of me during a scary time. Read More

My first visit a patient rather than a visitor. Everyone who helped prep me for my surgery was exceptionally professional, funny, and nice. Rita my nurse was just the sweetest and accommodating me anyway she could. My anesthesiologists were both reassuring and made comfortable with the process. Alyssa my check out nurse was patient and helped me check out safely. Overall my in and out process smooth. I was there a Laparoscopic Hysterectomy surgery and was amazed at how quickly everything went. I have Dr. Carlos Linares to thank for that. He took his time with surgery and not only removed my uterine fibroids but Endometriosis that he discovered while performing the surgery. I'm blessed to have had him as my surgeon. I highly recommend this place for all women. Read More

I am so thankful to all of my nurses from OR prep to discharge every single one of them so personable and sweet. My nurses Allie, Jess, and Destiny along with all the others and techs. I am so thankful for all that you did to support me in recovery from night 1 with cluster feeding, lack of sleep to baby in NICU and me testing positive for flu. Each of you there every step of the way. The fast acting of the pediatricians to asses baby's Hernia and come up with plan of treatment. To the surgeon who did an amazing job on baby girls belly. The NICU team taking care of baby girl and keeping me updated every step of the way. Though we had some unexpected circumstances with baby's hernia and me getting flu. The staff in each department so caring, professional and on top of mine and baby's care. I am so thankful for Winnie Palmer. Read More

The nurses in the antepartum floor were all amazing. I spent a month there and they were all so kind and warm during my stay. Also Mary on floor 8 in recovery was incredible! She was truly the best! I was so sad she was only my nurse for the day since I got discharged late afternoon. Also, the food at Winnie Palmer is actually good! I loved all the soups! Also, those chocolate chip cookies are a stand out. Overall my experience at the hospital was superb. And I am speaking as someone who spent a while there. Read More

I recently delivered my baby at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, and I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am for the care we received. This C-section and recovery were completely different from my first delivery years ago at another hospital — it was truly night and day. From the moment we walked in, I felt a sense of calm and reassurance. Instead of anxiety, I felt supported. Instead of uncertainty, I felt confidence that my baby and I were in the best hands. The staff was beyond amazing. Every nurse, doctor, and team member treated me with such compassion, patience, and genuine kindness. They took the time to explain everything, check on me often, and make sure I was physically and emotionally comfortable. During such a vulnerable and life-changing moment, that level of care meant everything. My recovery felt smoother because I felt safe. I felt heard. I felt respected. And most importantly, I felt truly cared for — not just as a patient, but as a mother. I woul Read More

Words can’t express the gratitude I have for the incredible staff at Winnie Palmer Hospital Orlando. On the day I was admitted, I experienced a placental abruption — a true emergency. The moment I arrived, the team did not walk… they RAN. From the ER straight through triage, every single person moved with urgency, compassion, and purpose. They immediately took my vitals, explained what was happening, and told me I’d need an emergency C-section right away because my baby’s heart rate was dropping and I was losing a lot of blood. There was no time for an epidural — I had to be put to sleep. When I woke up and saw my baby’s beautiful little face, I knew I owed everything to the outstanding medical team that acted so quickly. Dr. Eason was awesome he knew exactly what he was talking about. Charan and Shannon (L&D OR/PACU) — you were phenomenal. Tanesha my baby’s nurse (T8 Nursery), your care and attention meant the world to me. I literally wanted to take you home with me. Alicia and Ambe Read More

My first experience with orlando health whinnie palmer hospital was for a surgery done by Dr Watson-Locklear and her team. They worked together from beginning to end September 2025 for my polypectomy with light d&c, everything went perfectly and they informed my family throughout the process as requested. Recently december to this month they've been helping me with our pregnancy and tracking it to make sure we were safe, unfortunately we found little one was not where they should be, so sadly and unfortunately they had to help us track what our next steps were. They were there for us every single step of the way and still are. During one of the visits I was having a mental break down in the waiting room and Heather came out and found me and brought me to the back to help me get through my darkest emotions. And when Heather wasn't there for my other appointments zully stopped to chat with me and see how I was doing. Every nurse and doctor were kind and attentive and thorough as if they Read More

This hospital and the staff inside are simply AMAZING! As a super nervous FTM, I was reassured that I was in good hands every step of the way from triage all the way to my discharge day. My family and I all felt comfortable and my baby girl was delivered safely. The nurses were respectful of my wishes during labor and explained everything clearly from start to finish. I recommend this hospital for any woman delivering their babies TEN-FOLD. I’d put specific shoutouts to nurses but I don’t want to butcher any names. But myself, my husband, and my sweet Anya thank you all so much for your kindness, compassion, knowledgeability, and hospitality throughout our experience into our experience of bringing our child into the world. This hospital saved the life of my baby and I. They diagnosed me with severe pre ecclampsia when another ER sent me home with a blood pressure in the 170s systolic. The doctors and staff on the antepartum and recovery floor were amazing, with prompt diagnosis and explained everything to us in detail. This is our first child and this was all new to us. There was a nurse in the room when they did my c section and I was so scared of the procedure. She held my hand and helped me calm down. I’ll never forget that. They spent time with us and comforted us and we will never forget it. The NICU staff are amazing. We are forever indebted to Winnie Palmer hospital. Everyone was so accommodating, kind and made you feel like family. Thank you to the nurses and doctors and all staff at this hospital. Read More

My experience at winnie palmer for my surgery was great. I received a nice warm welcoming from the lady who greeted me in the pre-op waiting room, she was very sweet! She told me what I needed to do and what will happen after. I was then greeted by Rita, she was also very nice and welcoming. I expressed my concerns about the procedure and she helped eased my concerns the best way she knew how in regard’s to what she knew about the procedure until the physician could come speak to me. A very nice Anesthesiologist came to speak to me, I sadly do not remember her name but she was very nice and welcoming and educated me on some concerns I had about anesthesia. I was greeted by my physician and she went over the procedure again with me and my family so we all were informed about what would happen. I was then greeted by my circulator nurse, and my CRNA. I sadly also do not remember their names but they were very kind to me. My PACU nurse, Michelle I believe was very sweet and nice and took g Read More

Aunt CharChar in the OB/GYN Labor and delivery unit on the eighth floor is very amazing. She always checked up on us and made sure we were ok, never making us feel forgotten. She was attentive to the baby and constantly checked to make sure everything was fine. She also checked on me as the mother and on my guest, always asking if we needed anything and makes sure sure we were okay. Anytime we needed something she was quick to help with a comforting and reassurance manner and a smile. She made us feel comfortable, supported and genuinely cared for during our short stay. Over all i had a great experience and truly appreciate everything Aunt CharChar did. I had a great experience at the Winnie Palmer Hospital. Read More

So I was induced the same day of my 37 week appointment from the time that I arrived to Winnie Palmer I was seen in admissions and up to my room in less than 15 minutes. Every Nurse that I came encounter with was awesome down to the midwife down to the anesthesiologist, Miss Diana she was awesome down to my labor and delivery nurse Miss Beth she was awesome, giving me cues and breathing techniques even up into the postpartum ward. I felt safe even with me lately being diagnosed with gestational hypertension. I was getting BP check every 2 to 4 hours very alert and attentive of my needs who I was there and if I ever decide to have another kid, I will most definitely have it at Winnie Palmer and if I can get the same team that I have with my daughter, I will most definitely be back.
