LOVE this studio... I wasn't familiar with YogaSix before checking this place out. I've since learned it's the largest yoga franchise out there, the reason I mention this is because you'd never know it. From my personal experience this studio feels like an independent space that focuses on community. I love the diversity of classes and the instructors are amazing. I feel it's an incredibly inclusive environment whether it's your first time ever or you've been practicing for years.The space itself is perfect. The room is purpose built where it can accommodate larger class sizes but comfortably so. The sound system for both the music and the instructor's wireless mic are fantastic and are so helpful in being able to hear them lead the class without it being too intrusive. I live in between a lot of YogaSix studios and don't have one that's particularly close to me so I've been to them all and this is my favorite studio. The instructors and staff are... I live in between a lot of YogaSix studios and don't have one that's particularly close to me so I've been to them all and this is my favorite studio. The instructors and staff are so nice and everything inside the studio is really well taken care of and well thought out. They have a great water station, clean restrooms, and organized equipment. The classes themselves can be either relaxing or challenging and the sense of community in the room is also wonderful! I also appreciate the extra touch they take here to provide their cold eucalyptus towels while the class is ending and you're in savasana. None of the other studios I've been to have done that (the towels are usually available in the lobby after class from what I've seen) and it provides an extra bit of relaxation to the experience. If I lived closer to Edgewater, this would be the only yoga studio I'd go to! Read More
