I had a great stay at the Ilikai! Room was nice! People were great. I had booked a room with Marina during the pandemic. My initial stay was for 3 weeks, and I just kept extending my stay... 2.5 months!! AMazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They respond to any needs and requests very quickly. I had asked if they could get me some papers to write with since I could not leave the room for quarantine, and Kelli came back w papers, a notebook and a pen, I asked if I could pay for it, and she said no. We stayed in Ilikai Tower 1027. We live on Maui so going to Oahu is always exciting ! The unit has a great views and is was nicely upgraded. Kitchen has all you need as well. Thank you Marina Hawaii Vacations for giving us easy and clear instructions for check in. Hotel has a great location for Ala Moana shopping and surf which is what we needed. Our boy Johnny took 5th in the state surf competition at Ala Moana Bowls and condo provided great home base away from home for us to get rest! Mahalo nui loa and we hope to come back soon! I was treated like a queen by the sweetest employee, Maki! She went above and beyond and was always so kind, patient and helpful. She's so professional and provided excellent service which made my visit so special and memorable. The apartment was so beautiful, the view was magnificent, the building is very nice and in a perfect location. Maki provided so much information to help with my quarantine and to help with my adventures on the island. I am so grateful to Maki. I was there for a month (July/Aug) and can't wait to return! We stayed in room 1228 at the Ilikai Hotel and they were not kidding about the view. The room overlooks the lagoon and you get a fantastic view of the Friday night firework show at the Hilton. So many restaurants nearby but the best was Cinnamons in the hotel. The pools were clean and the staff was super friendly. Having a room with a fully furnished kitchen is a total game-changer. We saved so much by being able to cook breakfast and pack lunch/snacks for the beach. Speaking of saving money, booking directly through Marina Hawaii Vacations saves you tons. We stayed at the Ilikai, on Moana Blvd, Waikiki in February 2024. The unit we rented was completely upgraded in the past month. They did a fabulous job. The adult quiet pool served its purpose, we even spent time at the family pool. There were some issues with the elevators and we made the best of it. They gave us great service. There is a bathers elevator to the left side as you enter. It services all floors, is larger than the main bank of elevators and sometimes quicker, especially coming down to Lobby. Our Lani faced the Friday evening fireworks, awesome., photo attached. There are services on main floor, a marketplace , beach toy rentals, ice cream, restaurant etc. Shirt walk to Ala Moana Shopping Centre. We stocked up on day one and simply Uber’d back with the groceries, might have been $6 if that. It’s a bit of a walk to the main action on Kalakaua Ave. Uber ride to the far end, near the zoo was $13. Sometimes we would Uber down and walk back. So far all we have done is reserved our 7 night stay through Marina Hawaii Vacations and I can tell you already that I am super confident this will be the best stay! Sabrina was a superstar! She was so patient with all my questions and neediness. We laughed and joked and she definitely made me feel confident that this will be an amazing stay. Our trip is not until June but I’m sure everything will be smooth. Sabrina you are awesome and you have new friends in California whenever you come visit!!! I will review the whole adventure in June!! *****everything was perfect!! Easy self check in on a Sunday and easy self check out on the following Sunday. The condo had all the amenities we needed. We went shopping at Costco and target for food and took advantage of the full size fridge and kitchen supplies and washer and dryer. The view was amazing! Sunsets and full moon at night and it was the perfect view of the Friday fireworks.
