I had a very frustrating experience at the Home Depot in Countryside. I reserved an auto feed drain cleaner, took half a day off work, and when I arrived I was told the machine was broken. I understand things happen, but I don’t understand how broken equipment can still be reserved. No other machines were available, even after calling nearby locations.
I ended up finding Wirtz, and the difference was night and day. I was greeted with a smile, rented the machine immediately at a better price, and they even helped load and unload it. This experience reminded me that big box stores aren’t always convenient. I’ll be supporting this family-owned business going forward and highly recommend Wirtz.
