I'm a little over 6 months in and I have come to the following conclusions. Please keep in mind, I'm an awful customer. I demand a very high quality of work; it's a byproduct of being raised by a single mom with 30 years of property management experience. 1. Communication is near perfect. No communication system is perfect but Mike and Brandon do a pretty darn good job of doing so. My calls and emails get answered immediately or returned within 30 minutes. Obviously if I email after hours it takes sometimes until the next business day but it is remarkable how well they respond. 2. Reports. Lucky Star gives me a digital breakdown of every month, in an easy to access portfolio that I get both via email and through their login if needed. The rented the first house we saw, which happened to be managed by Lucky Stae Properties and we've been quite happy with the whole experience. Once we decided we wanted to rent the house they got us moved in quicker than their projected date, at our requested, and despite some minor aesthetic issues with the property (which were quickly fixed once the company was notified) everything has been great. They are very military friendly and made the transition out of the property easy when I got orders to move again. It is now 8 years with Lucky Star and I am still very happy with them. As a homeowner and not living in the property we tend to have in our heads that the now rental property is still in the same condition as when we lived there. That is far from the truth. It is amazing how much wear and tear happens just by living in a house, especially with renters. I encourage property owners to listen to their Property Managers along with your own due diligence. I selected this company because their views and professionalism went in hand with my first Property Manager I had for my property in Texas. I had that company for over 20 years and when I sold my house the beginning of 2021, I was very thankful that I listened as the costs to get the house to market were greatly reduced because I maintained and upgraded my property through the years as necessary and recommended.
