He’s extremely helpful and knowledgeable, with a strong eye for technique and detail. Robbie gave clear, practical corrections that immediately improved my form and efficiency in the water. He explains things in a way that’s easy to understand and applies exactly what you need, without overcomplicating it. Overall, he has everything you’d want in a swim instructor -professional, patient, and highly effective. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their swimming. Read More

I love Chelsea Piers Fitness! I’m a member at the Downtown Brooklyn location and I used to be a member at the Chelsea location (the best gym in nyc). The Downtown Brooklyn location has the BEST group of yoga instructors in NYC! I take an early evening hot yoga class Sunday through Friday. The gym also has great weight lifting and boxing classes. All the staff members are amazing, and the gym is very clean. I used to be a member of Equinox and LifeTime and I would definitely recommend Chelsea Piers Fitness over them. Read More

Has several different levels. Handicap bathroom is one level below the main entrance. Main entrance is no step. There is a lift to the floor down which leads directly to the handicap restrooms and then snack bar. In the bathroom there are grab bars. The bathroom is large enough for a wheelchair. The soap is a little tall. The sink has a space below it, but there are also supports that might interfere witg your knees. A level below the locker room has a handicap accessible shower. Read More
