The Thiessen Design & Construction team did an amazing job in transforming two bedroom spaces in our home. My daughter’s room was converted into a beautiful old Hollywood retreat with many art deco accents. My son’s room was recreated with a National Park theme. They both love their new spaces, and we could not be more pleased with the creative energy and professionalism of Tammy and the entire Thiessen Design & Construction team. Thiessen Design and Construction was a joy to work with from the very beginning. Our designer, Kelly, helped us choose and order furniture and then installed home decor for a living room space in our new house. She also gave us a recommendation for an electrician to install can lights in that room and one other. Kelly was so incredibly helpful from start to finish. She was patient while I weeded through gobs of fabric swatches and when I was indecisive. She was responsive, helped me stick to my budget, and was very upfront about costs. Her design eye is incredible and I knew trusting her with the final details of our design install was a no brainer. I was blown away with the transformation. Our house was built in the 90s, and the design brought the living room back to present day. We also had Thiessen do an exterior rendering, which included paint colors and images of a few options for painting our house. We had the pleasure of working with Thiessen Design and Construction for a recent home remodel. The project entailed updating two bathrooms and a staircase and adding a powder bath to maximize our family's needs. The team listened to our vision for the spaces and was able to accommodate our needs, keeping us on budget and informing us of progress along the way. We were most impressed with the creativity that went into repurposing existing space to create the much-needed powder bath. Our designer Monica was very attentive to our comments and opinions to create the spaces we envisioned. She has a great eye for design and coordinating colors and different materials to deliver the look that fits our lifestyle and home. Project manager Sean coordinated subcontractors and kept them on task. The subcontractors were very respectful of our home, minimizing disruption and keeping our home clean as much as possible along the way. They were kind, courteous, clean, creative, good people and masters of their craft. The details and workmanship were above and beyond. After years of wishing for a new kitchen, we finally decided to take the plunge and complete a complete kitchen makeover along with our dining room, updates to the living room and a re-do of our exposed staircase. The process was well organized and moved along nicely despite a few issues that we needed to work through. The end product is unbelievable. The style matches our home and compliments some of its built in character. I could not be more excited about our kitchen redesign! Theissen Design & Construction gave us a vision and executed it perfectly! Monica did an amazing job with the design for our kitchen, and helped us manage our expense by utilizing existing cabinetry in much of the space. Abby and Sean were communicative and did a fantastic job keeping the project running smoothly - the entire crew was conscientious, professional, friendly, quick, clean, and experts in their field. It feels like we have a brand new kitchen with the updates, and the team ensured the space blended seamlessly with the adjacent rooms with just a little paint and lighting.
