Smart General Contracting completed an 8 flag concrete sidewalk replacement in front of our home in Park Slope, Brooklyn. This was required for home insurance renewal. Permits from NYC are required and the contractor must be licensed by NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP). Smart General, as I verified on the DCWP website, is in fact fully licensed. Further, they obtained the permit from NYC Dept. of Transportation within 72 hours! Smart General is operated by Mr. Ahmed. He provided a fair estimate and delivered exactly according to the terms of the estimate. He is an excellent and professional communicator, responding to texts promptly. He and his team are conscientious, polite, neat, clean, and dedicated. I am giving the company 5 stars because it is well deserved. I am extremely satisfied with the fair cost of the project and its excellent execution. Read More
