When I came in as an average Joe, desperately in need of someone to help me with a rush order, custom designed, engagement ring, I was expecting to be laughed off or pointed in a different direction at best. To my surprise, I was greeted by the kindest, family feeling staff, that was open minded, willing to problem solve, and charged me a more than fair price for a custom ring with a four day turnaround, before my engagement trip to Italy. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much in the customer service department given past experiences elsewhere, my minimalist taste, and what I assumed the average Icebox customer was shopping for. Boy was I wrong. Jenee Ewen felt like an instant friend—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely there to help. This was such a refreshing and different jewelry experience for me. She didn’t waste my time, answered all of my (very) ignorant questions about lab-grown vs standard diamonds without a hint of judgment, and most importantly, she listened.
