I'm a professional software developer and very knowledgeable about hardware as well. I've been going to GIM since 2000--that's 18 years--because I've always gotten excellent service and support. Most basic needs I can handle myself, but once I hit my own limit on a repair I take it to them. They seem to be able to handle any hardware problem. My current computer that they build in 2008 has been functioning great until the motherboard finally quit. 10 years is well past the expected lifespan, so that's not surprising. They're replacing the necessary components and saving me money over a whole new computer. I've bought many 1-2 year old off-lease used computers for small server projects over the years and had a great experience with them too. Read More

Naturally, I returned to GIM to specify my friend's new PC. GIM is always very helpful with specifying the best components for the needs of the user. They don't do a one fits all solution. They are excellent with customer service and took the time to help me choose the right combination for long-term use. My friend is super happy with the system they built. I can't imagine ever buying a new PC and getting one serviced anyplace else but GIM. Read More

Checked with a local computer shop and was told it would be $100 an hour and they would have to do a full rebuild. Took it to GIM because I bought a computer there years ago. They fixed it almost as soon as they started working on it, only charged me for one hour's work. I live 30 miles away and, well, you know Atlanta traffic. Was totally worth the time and gas to trust GIM. Was worth every penny. Excellent service, excellent work. 10/10 no question. Read More
