He runs the kind of business that reminds you to value your community and invest in it. He has a truly remarkable collection powered by sheer love for literacy and reading and conserving the past, it's magical inside his shop, he hosts live music and cinema events, he makes patrons little cups of espresso served with Girl Scout cookies, he remembers my name, my mother's name, he asks after your friends, your hobbies-- 10/10. This is an incredible place to wander. I came in with an idea of what I was looking for, but was instead met with a book that I didn’t know that I needed. But if you are looking for something specific, the owner will diligently hunt it down or nudge you in the right direction. The inside of the store is like a magical little wonderland filled with great quality used books, rare finds, records, posters, and trinkets that give the place so much personality and character. The owner is really down to earth and even offered me an espresso he was making. Wish I’d known about it sooner, and will definitely be making it a regular stop! Read More
