Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize high-performance Python systems for AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows
Improve reliability, performance, and safety of existing production Python codebases
Collaborate with teams to support model training and evaluation workflows

Develop full-stack tooling and backend services for data annotation and quality control
Identify and resolve bottlenecks and edge cases in data and system behavior
Participate in design reviews to drive technical strategy and decisions

Required Skills & Experience

Expertise in designing distributed computing systems and managing concurrency
Full-stack development background with systems programming foundation
Native or fluent English speaker with strong communication skills
Experience with data annotation, quality, or evaluation systems

5+ years of experience in production Python for large-scale infrastructure
Experienced in driving technical strategy and architectural decisions
Strong command of Python internals and performance optimization
Able to commit 20-40 hours per week consistently
