About the Role:

As an SDE2, you will design and build high-quality backend services and APIs across a subset of the team's systems. You will operate independently in code construction, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will own features end-to-end, handle challenging problems with clear constraints and trade-offs, and contribute to improving system quality, reliability, and performance.

You Will:
• Design and implement modular, maintainable backend services and APIs.
• Own features or functional areas from technical design through production support.
• Contribute to design discussions and propose trade-offs for consideration.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to implement reliable, performant data access patterns.
• Improve code quality, testing, deployment, logging, and monitoring practices.
• Provide thoughtful code and design reviews.
• Identify and mitigate obvious technical and delivery risks.
• Partner with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support onboarding of new engineers and contribute to a strong team culture.

You Have:
• Experience with DynamoDB or other large-scale NoSQL data stores.
• Experience working on distributed systems.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant or platform-oriented service design.
• Familiarity with observability and operational best practices.
• Experience mentoring interns or new hires.
