About this role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join the Power Labor team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, plumbing systems across various commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to high-quality construction efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Install, plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, on commercial construction sites
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
  • Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble plumbing components
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Follow safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of pipe installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for accurate project execution
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
