Providing Open MRI services to the Greater Chicago area since 2009, River North offers free onsite parking at our newly renovated center on W. Kinzie Street, just east of I-90. Both patients and their referring physicians will appreciate our streamlined service with report sharing software for accurate results and faster report turnaround times. Our state-of-the-art equipment features a 1.5T Wide-bore MRI scanner that produces less noise when compared to closed MRI units; this can help alleviate some anxiety for nervous patients, making their experience with us a more positive one.

My experience here was great. Front desk was super kind and knowledgeable, they talked me through what to expect every step of the way. I wish I got my MRI tech’s name—he was wonderful. After finding out how nervous and claustrophobic I was, he was super kind and attentive, playing some music through my headphones and checking in to let me know how long was left and informing and comforting me through the contrast process. The whole thing was a breeze. Place is nicely maintained and clean. Mom was able to come into the room for extra support. If you’re someone that struggles with anxiety and small spaces, I think this spot is an especially good fit. Read More
