I wanted to start taking singing lessons but was a bit apprehensive about being an adult beginner. I am very happy that I found Dori because she helped me find and is continuing to... I wanted to start taking singing lessons but was a bit apprehensive about being an adult beginner. I am very happy that I found Dori because she helped me find and is continuing to help me find my authentic voice. When I first started, I expected to learn complex theory and concepts about the "how" of singing. Dori was able to encourage me to sing as a felt and gave me the space to figure certain things out on my own and introduced technical concepts in small doses while helping me build up my confidence. I am now singing the songs I grew up with and genuinely enjoy the learning process. Her corrections are always delivered in a comprehensive manner and help you stay motivated to improve. I also appreciate her efforts in playing music by Italian artists that I love. If you like a particular genre that is less common, she will tailor the sheet music for you. Really recommend her to anyone that wants to begin singing at any age. Read More
