We had a great overall experience. We obtained several quotes from local movers, and Mike Hammer was by far the most affordable price by $700-$1200 less than the others. The other companies estimated... We had a great overall experience. We obtained several quotes from local movers, and Mike Hammer was by far the most affordable price by $700-$1200 less than the others. The other companies estimated 2 trucks and 6 movers, but Mike Hammer felt 1 truck and 3 movers was sufficient and could be done in the exact same time as the other companies estimated. Turns out that was the perfect amount of help needed. The final invoice and total time required was nearly identical to the initial estimate (less than $100 difference, only 15 minutes more) -- it's really nice to not get hit with a much larger bill at the end, and it told us that they worked with honesty and integrity. Our 3 movers were friendly, worked very hard and efficiently, arrived on time, and took good care of everything. We will be using again in the future if needed. Read More

Highly recommend choosing Mike Hammer for your moving needs. The owner came out himself to give us an estimate. Their estimate was clearly laid out and accurate. They called us a few days prior to our pack out to see if there was anything else we needed. The packers and movers were so friendly, professional and hardworking. They ensured our floors were protected while moving. They did an excellent job packing our items so they wouldn't break or scratch. I couldn't be more impressed with how efficient they were. He was able to very accurately estimate how long it would take and what size crew to make our move happen in one day! All of the movers that we worked with were excellent! Terrific customer service and even helped us with a couple of additional items. They were very friendly and took the time to do a walk-through at the current house and then at our new home to ensure they knew where every room was. They kept everything together, so that unpacking has been easy! They listened, asked good questions and were off to loading the truck. My toddler wanted to talk to them and ask them questions and each of them were so kind and responsive to our child.
