It’s always difficult to find trustworthy mechanics, especially for European cars. I had an excellent experience working with The Import Mechanics. They kept me informed throughout the evaluation and process, making sure I was aware of everything going on with my FIAT. They were very knowledgeable and helpful so I felt I could trust them completely with my car. They also offer loaner cars at a very reasonable price if any extensive work is required and check your car back clean to you! I’m so glad I found them so I don’t have to go to the dealership, where I had multiple terrible experiences.

I had a great experience with this shop. My Jeep broke down in Birmingham while I was on my way to Florida. The team here was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They allowed me to leave my Jeep at their shop for the week while I continued my trip with a rental car, and they worked on it while I was gone.
Throughout the entire process they kept in touch with me, communicated clearly about what was going on, and were always friendly and professional. By the time I was driving back through Birmingham on my way home, my Jeep was ready to go. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a trustworthy shop in the area.

Frank the owner, is an honest and trustworthy businessman. We ran into a small mishap that was in no way his fault, but he unfortunately ended up dealing with the short end of it. Despite that, he handled the situation in the best way possible. Communication was excellent, and the turnaround time was very fast.
