We noticed indications of clogged drain pipe on Monday night, 11/24. Called Allens Plumbing on Tue. morning and they managed to get tech to me in late afternoon. He confirmed a drain issue and removed the master toilet to run a snake from there. He managed to get the flow going and also checked the pipe with a camera. Show me a section in the pipe water was still present, which indicated that section was not straight and had dip. This would be an expensive repair if we decided to get it done. In the meantime we will occasionally run some extra water through the drain to try and keep that section clear of debris (like toilet paper). We could have run the snake from a shower stall drain but I wanted the wax ring seal on the toilet replaced anyway. Our tech, Jesse, was very courteous. He did the work very efficiently and explained everything clearly and completely. He kept everything nice and clean. You could not tell any such work had occurred in the bathroom.
