It was so helpful to have them as a resource for questions over email while booking vendors but before timeline planning began. Ashley’s creation and management of our day of timeline was crucial and such a weight off us to have a partner with us to build and execute with our updates from vendor communications. On the day of, Ashley was such an amazingly positive force who came fully prepared and pulled everything off seamlessly with the church and venue contacts at Hampshire House. When we started looking at day of coordinators, many of the websites were overwhelming to navigate; many with packages by the hour and for those using day of services, only connecting the month or weeks before the wedding. This is not the case with Without a Hitch! As part of our "day of coordination" we had a formal call about 7 months out and 1 month out along with constant communication via email. The owner Sarah was with us every step of the way, but she matched us with the perfect person to be the day of coordinator for our wedding. Ashley, our day-of coordinator, was truly a dream. Yes, she was also critical in the behind the scenes work leading up to our big day but what sticks out to me the most is the moment she arrived in the bridal suite at our wedding venue. I was slightly panicked until the moment she walked in and eliminated all of my anxiety. She is the most calming presence you'll ever encounter!! My wedding day wouldn't have been the same without Ashley by my side keeping everyone in line and everything on track. The only thing I had to "worry" about on that day was getting myself down the aisle. We were doing all of the planning on our own, so the decision to book Without a Hitch for day-of was easily one of the best we made. Sarah is fabulous, but our coordinator was Amy Aris and she crushed it. We tried to keep our own schedule with vendor contracts, points of contact, logistics, but Amy was great at helping us fill in the gaps and getting us more organized. By asking us questions we hadn’t considered, we gained a better understanding of the wedding we wanted to throw, and Amy helped us make it happen. Our 10/4/25 wedding at Arlington Town Hall was a “bare bones” venue without event staff, which meant we had full freedom but also full responsibility for every vendor. Sarah and Ashley guided us through it all, connecting us with amazing vendors (caterer, photographer, band, photo booth, etc.) that made the day perfect. The day ran flawlessly thanks to Without a Hitch’s detailed timeline, Ashley’s support at our rehearsal, and her calm, meticulous execution on the day itself. We had a traditional Persian ceremony with an elaborate sofreh aghd (ceremonial table with several symbolic items), and Ashley handled it with such patience and respect. After deciding we wanted to go through with booking, it truly was the right decision. Every time we spoke to another vendor and told them we had Without a Hitch as our day-of coordinator, the vendors would *literally* breathe a sigh of relief and tell us how great of a decision it was to hire them. As a very Type B bride, it was also helpful to have them asking questions about specifics which then prompted me to get the answers to those questions to make sure things were organized and communicated clearly. We leaned on many of her recommendations for vendors, including some of our very favorite wedding components like the arcade games we set up for guests and our awesome DJ. From there, she kept in close contact with us throughout the entire process answering any and all questions so by the time we reached the wedding we felt totally ready. She kept in touch with all of our vendors so that we didn’t have to answer any last minute questions and could focus on enjoying our wedding weekend. On the day of the wedding, she ensured everything was perfect. From the wheelchair accessible reception and aisle arrangement to setting up all our little personal touches she brought our rainbow lit vision to life.
