This past weekend I got my first tattoo by Ria ( @tattooist_kimria) in honor of my dog Hailey’s passing 1 year ago. I felt like I got extremely lucky finding Ria, and the timing of it all worked so well that I was able to get set up on the 1-year anniversary of her passing. It was everything I could have asked for, and more.I had been to a couple of places to get quotes, and they didn’t really sit there and take the time to understand this tattoo was really important to me, not only that it’s my first, but that it was in memoriam of my dog of 15 years.I got a response quickly after submitting my information through VISM’s website and began working on the scheduling and detail of the tattoo, sending photos over to Ria and her team for review.Ria came up with multiple designs and sent those, I think I knew in a matter of seconds because one of the photos felt like I could see Hailey's eyes again, it was honestly crazy.We worked through the final details, with Ria allowing me to make chan
