I started trying different fitness classes (Pop Pilates, toning, stretch, Kukuwa) at the studio and found the environment to be welcoming, diverse, and community focused.There was no judgment about body type, there were people in different places in their fitness journey, so it wasn't uncomfortable as a beginner.The instructors are friendly and demonstrate different ways to do a stretch or an exercise, tailoring it to the person and their specific needs. They also set realistic expectations. I have definitely seen improvements in my strength and stamina. I'm more flexible and I don't need to take as many breaks during the workout.Instead of dreading working out, I look forward to going to the studio.I do want to mention the reasonable pricing. There are some gyms that are bare bones at low prices, and specialized gyms that are outrageously expensive. That alone, says a lot!Not only do I get effective and fun workouts along with fun dance classes but over the years I have also gained some genuine friendships. It's a place of community where we all come together as one. Everyone of us who attend, feel so welcomed no matter our backgrounds, age, size, color, skill level, etc. There is ZERO judgment at Basma. All instructors have something different to offer and they're all so nice and very talented. I get a good workout every time and have fun doing it. The energy at this place is amazing and so infectious. Maysa, the owner is a beautiful soul. She's always so positive and greets everyone with a big smile. At the same time, she's her authentic self and it's one reason why we all feel so comfortable there.
