I did research pricing before renting, they were on the higher end but I also needed something in two days, the lower priced place closer to me already had theirs rented for that weekend. After our experience with them, and realizing we will need to rent the equipment one more weekend, we have decided we will rent it again from Maine Equipment Rentals even they they may be higher priced because the customer service was excellent! I forgot the names of everyone in the shop, but then and everyone else have been helpful when I run into problems, Dave the mechanic knows his stuff and it's been extremely helpful also. We were actually late returning a lift due to getting our truck stuck in the mud after a rainstorm. With other (national) companies we would have been charged for another day’s rental. Fearing the worst, we called in and explained our situation. The employee understood, wasn’t phased and didn’t charge us for the couple hours we were late getting the lift back to them.
