After years of only having cut my own, my wavy/curly hair had become too long to properly address any layers and my curls had become weighed down by the lack of shape. When I scheduled the appointment with Prema, we discussed my needs very briefly. On the day of the cut, it was very clear to me that she had spend a great deal of time contemplating what she would do and the products that would best serve my hair. She meticulously explained what she would be doing, all the while asking for input and feedback. She took her time and checked in with me throughout the process, as we were taking off more hair than I usually do.
