I'm an event planner who had the honor of working with Kristi at John Claude. She was very detail-oriented, quick to respond to emails, and resourceful. Always having a solution, she navigated a wedding where the space was a little tight and did not know if the day was rain or shine. Thankfully we had sunshine.She went above and beyond her job as a caterer. Kristi assisted me with the ceremony, collaborating with me to make sure the bride successfully made it down the aisle. Kristi was responsive and very helpful when it came to planning - offering great suggestions and walking me through options. And the two women who were on-site on the day of the party were amazing. Regina and Michelle were attentive, friendly, warm and thorough. Best of all, they allowed me the freedom to enjoy the party while they took care of these on-site logistics. She was always quick to respond to emails and was very flexible when we had to change the date due to the venue double-booking us. Omg I just posted a hugggeee paragraph boasting about how great this company is and somehow I deleted it before it posted. But that’s okay, they’re worth the retype! 😂 From day one, Kristi had been wonderful to me! Communication was always great and super pleasant! The staff went above and beyond for me to save my day from what could have been a huge disaster ( venue problem, nothing to do with John Claude catering company). I had zero clue on how to throw a wedding and thankfully Kristi came in and on top of catering, became my day of coordinator! The staff helped set up everything for me while I got ready, all with a huge smile on their faces. I never once felt like I was bothering them when I asked for help. They were super welcoming the whole time! Food was great! Staff was super amazing! I’ve even attached a picture of kristi going out of her way to come up to my bridal suite to help me with my problems. This company is so talented and welcoming, I can’t recommend them enough! She was super helpful in planning out the wedding day weeks before and on the day of. They serve very large portions to each guest and it was all served hot👍 The appetizers were abundant during cocktail hour, quite the opposite of the usual of trying to hunt down the servers to grab one, haha. I don't have enough praise words to describe my experience with Kristi at John Claude Catering who catered my wedding this past February in Brooklyn, New York. My wedding was at the Dumbo Loft. At the time I found John Claude, I had already expended extensive time, energy and efforts in attempting to find a reasonable catering service for my planned wedding of about 120 people. I found that most caterers I spoke with prior to John Claude, were significantly unclear about their pricing and service models. When pressed with specific questions about what is actually necessary for a 120 person event, the answers were typically vague and evasive with little flexibility. We will be using them again next year.Not sure if their food or their team is better - their BBQ food is delicious. Kristi helped me custom build a menu with salads, sides, vegetables, grilled meats, and desserts that all our guests loved. They even bring in amazing Kosher food for our Kosher guests.Kristi's team is extremely friendly and hardworking. First time I used Jean Claude Catering was for Christmas dinner. It was phenomenal! Ordered early December and picked up on Christmas Eve @ 10 am. The Christmas dinner package was for 8 ppl. We had salad, stuffed shells, pork lion, risotto croquettes, string bean almondine, and apple pie. Heated up the food on Christmas Day and the pork loin was so tender you could cut it with a fork!
