I'm sad to say that this is now the one and only pre funk in the treasure valley but on a positive note it is in a great location in canyon county and the people out here are much more friendly than the typical down town Boise crowd. Great craft beer selection with 25 beers on tap. I've coming here since they opened and they have always done a stellar job of providing a wide variety of craft beer styles. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are happy to help you find the beer, or cider, you're looking for. They don't serve food, but if you walk next door to Messenger Pizza they'll gladly walk it over when it's gone. Small town vibe, delicious craft beers, dog friendly, and welcoming environment will keep me coming back. Look for Bialy while you're there... she loves pizza. Update: love this place. Prefunk is probably one of my most favorite places, not just bars, in the whole world. It’s like stepping into a warm, inviting hug.
