Lovely mother/daughter date to The New Romantics Bookstore. It's a cute store with a nice selection of books that span many different & inclusive genres. Romantasy, BIPOC authors, LGBTQ+, strong female leads, YA's, dark fantasy, & a small section of popular books translated into Spanish. There are journals for day & night reflection. There are a plethora of pretty bookmarks, trinkets, lots of stickers, cups, pens, kindle covers, framed prints and candles. The staff is helpful and went above & beyond. They thought the book I was buying had an available signed author copy, they found it & my day was made. They have the cutest stamp & embossed, that you can stamp or emboss your book with a TBR from The New Romantics. Such a nice touch! It's is a delightful place to spend some time, pick up a few books and book accessories! The prices are what you would expect from any bookstore that is not amz. The employee and even some of the customers were so helpful! You can tell them exactly what type of romance you like, what tropes you like or what you’re looking for and the employee was able to give me multiple recommendations, as well as the customers. The customers and employees alike are so excited about this cute little store that I could have spent hours in! The next time I’m in Orlando I will definitely be stopping in again! They have books from self-published authors which was incredible to see! If you love special editions, like I do, they do have them! They also have signed copies available, as well! Read More
