One on one service. Unfortunately if you are not being waited on you can end up waiting a bit. I waited 8-10 minutes for service when one person was in front of me. Both clerks were busing talking. My clerk was very apologetic about my long wait time. I guess it's good if you are the person being waited on. They will be very focused on help you. Read More

There are a number of Books and Books branches throughout Southeastern Florida. All independently owned and staffed by people who are passionate about books. I’ve visited a couple with nary an intention to buy. However, I always end up buying a good book or two here. Usually something of local interest.This is a nice small branch located in the Bal Harbor Shops. The staff was very knowledgeable about their collection as well as what’s different about their other locations…they made a couple of recommendations. Parking is free in the shopping area. I loved the architecture and the layout of the Shops — it’s all open air with plenty of greenery. The Shops are mostly high end so I’m unlikely to shop here, but some of the eating places were packed: I’ll be back to Books and Books and throw in a drink and a meal at one of the bars/restaurants at the Shops. Excellent very quiet for reading and a a lot variety of books if you can’t find it here it don’t exist.
