Nery is an excellent teacher! Took her sewing basics class and it’s a great way to learn basic techniques and end up with a pin cushion that you sew at the end of the class. There are only 6 people in the class at a time, which is perfect so you get plenty of one-on-one time with Nery. She also gives great advice on machines, thread, materials, etc. I ended up buying a machine from her the same day. Highly recommended if you’re interested in learning how to sew. Read More

I am so excited that I found this creative studio. Nery is not only a stellar seamstress, but also an incredibly knowledgeable and patient instructor. The small classes really give you a lot of 1:1 time to learn. This shop is filled with positive vibes and lots of love. I always feel inspired when I arrive and I leave feeling proud of the project I complete. I started with super basic sewing and then added some intermediate classes. I have now made an apron, zipper pouches, knots bag, and even learned quilting. If you need supplies Nery sells high quality gear at a super reasonable price. Bonus you get a discount in the shop when you complete a class! I’m so glad I get to support a woman owned small business, learn a new skill, make some super practical and awesome crafts , and meet some really cool people in class. Thank you Nery for welcoming us all into your space. I can’t wait to keep sewing with you. 🫶🏼 Read More

I have two classes under my belt, Sewing Basics & Alterations Basics. Nery is incredibly kind and encouraging, making everyone feel confident and welcome. I really liked that during the first class she wanted us to start sewing and get a feel for the craft, rather than spending class time on how to thread the machine. She sent a follow up email after class with detailed how to videos. I left both classes feeling inspired and ready to learn more. Nery is a natural teacher and just a really cool person. Anyone who’s looking to learn how to sew should take a class with her! Read More

I’ve taken 2 classes (basic sewing and basic alterations) from Nery and can’t recommend them enough! I knew NOTHING going in and she is so incredibly patient. She makes it fun and not stressful when I made mistakes (inevitable). She got me set up with a fantastic sewing machine and all the basic tools for a home set up, too. They offer lots of different classes in a really cool location. Read More
