I have been looking around for a great mechanic in the upper East side for some time now... I feel like I finally found one at Pleasant Auto Repair on 119th street /1st Ave. (Mr. Tulio and Arturo) The... I have been looking around for a great mechanic in the upper East side for some time now... I feel like I finally found one at Pleasant Auto Repair on 119th street /1st Ave. (Mr. Tulio and Arturo) They helped me to diagnose the loud noise that was coming from underneath my jeep Renegade (a Faulty brake and Rotor as well as a broken linkage) and also helped me to address the vibration that occurred when the car was stopped at the light (broken motor mount). I appreciated the way they took the time to talk me through the various issues, (the way they saved the replaced parts for my inspection, and how they presented me with options to keep the cost of repairs down. I found their work to be outstanding, and their prices to be very fair especially for New York City!! I highly recommend this place to everyone and plan on returning here for all my oil changes and repair needs moving forward!! Eddie B. Read More
