First thing you notice when you walk in is the amazing smell of woods, followed by a dizzying assortment of every Woodworker's dream tools. They have it all! Their store brand tools, "Wood River" give great quality at a moderate price. I honestly have to exercise extraordinary self-restraint to keep myself from shouting "Take all my money. PLEASE!"

This place is like toys are us for a woodworker. It's hard not to spend sometime in the store when you already know what you want. Great service on ordering something if it's out of stock. The staff is very friendly and courtesy.

I happened on this store by accident, and what a wonderful accident! I worked with Dave who was amazing! Very friendly. Very knowledgeable. Very helpful. I will definitely go back for my wood needs! They offer woodworking classes that I’m considering taking. Highly recommended!

There aren't many choices for woodturners, but these guys are always friendly and helpful. It is an expensive hobby, so I take advantage of sales when they go over the typical 10% off amount. It is difficult for me to not go crazy in here. I always walk out excited for my next projects. Thanks folks!

Very helpful people, nice clean store. I had bought a super nova chuck a few years back before I started turning and it sat for a year or so and now when I try to use it on my Laguna 1836 the chuck runs out between .020 & .025. Impossible to get a bowl to run true with that much run out. Teknatool does not respond to my emails.

Great selection of woods at what I think is a decent price. I will say some of the tools can be had for cheaper if you hunt online but this is true of almost anywhere and again their selection is awesome. I see them offer a lot of classes on various topics, but I've yet to respond before one fills up. The staff is all really helpful and have offered up tips and pointers for several of my projects. This place was invaluable when I started woodworking and made what could have been very frustrating extremely enjoyable.

Great place for woodworking tools & small machines. Bandsaws, drum sanders, Festool & sawstop to name a few. Great selection of Mesquite slabs and AZ walnut slabs. Decent selection of hardwood boards as well!

Love this place! I spent an hour browsing and speaking with staffer Sharon. First off, she didn't grimace when I told her I make miniatures - happens in other shops with similar supplies & tools! She helped me figure out how to make the tool I need, something not available for minis. Can't wait to go back and spend a few bucks on useful "toys"!

It's a decent store. The staff are knowledgeable and usually nice, they can be a bit standoff-ish though and previously I had a bit of a condescending interaction with one member. It's about a 45m drive for me, so when I make the trek up there I really want to make sure they've got everything I'm looking for. This is where they sometimes don't shine. I feel that a lot of the time they might have one of say...a saw. They might have 4 different brands of that type of saw on the rack but they only stocked one of each so the other three are sold out and the only one they have left is $80. The others started at $15. This is just an example to illustrate the point but you get the idea. They also tend to be a bit more expensive, but I can get past that since it's local and a brick and mortar store where I can see and touch what I'm getting. Overall I like the store and it's a decent resource for supplies and hardware if you're not shopping online.

This is my favorite woodworking store. I'm still learning, and the staff here is so helpful. For example, I stopped in to inquire about making a handle for the knife kits they offer. Josh walked me through the entire process in a way that even I, as a beginner, could understand. It's a shame that there are negative reviews regarding masks. There is plenty of room in the store to maintain a safe distance, and I am not concerned in the least about my safety when I shop there.

Love this place. The staff are experienced, friendly, and helpful. They have lots of beautiful specialty and exotic woods for sale. There is a large variety of quality tools, including some tools from Japan. The prices reflect the quality: it's not the cheapest place in town, but the items in their inventory will last. I've spent lots of time just strolling the aisles and looking at their wares. I recommend you do the same!

Woodcraft of Tucson is a gem of a place to shop. I'm refinishing a vintage Spanish Colonial bakers table and called the store to find out if they sell Briwax. I spoke with Randy and he put aside the last can of clear they had in stock - great customer service! When I arrived to the store, Randy helped me discover other methods for buffing out the Briwax since I was struggling with buffing by hand. He's very knowledgeable about the products in the store and speaks at a level I'm comfortable with. A kind man, a store filled with woodworking tools, beautiful woods on display and very unusual offering like cholla cactus and walking stick woods. I can't wait to return as I work on future products. Thank you for all your help, Randy!

Needed a bit of particular lumber for a upcoming order. Although they dont always have the best prices or deals compared to other woodworking companys it is always a pleasure doing buisness at this store! Always genuine, always polite, always helpful! and that is always worth the extra cost in my book.

Unfortunately found myself in a crash coarse learning about butcher block counter sealing and finishing. Decided on a product and Woodcraft was the only location in Tucson that had what I needed in stock. The gentlemen working there gave me excellent information and educated me on different products and methods of application. They are incredibly knowledgeable and approachable. I will be returning for any future needs!
