No other Vet ER in NYC has ratings as high as VEG ER for good reason. We came in yesterday for head trauma and was seen promptly. The three doctors who treated my dog: Dr. Donahue, Dr. Russell, and Dr. Turturro were capable and meticulous, discussing the symptoms and possible causes with patience and an emphasis that I understood everything that was happening. They took the situation seriously and made me feel like my dog was getting the best care possible. The support staff like Nathaniel were kind and patient too, making sure we had everything we needed, offering us water and snacks, and helped clean up an accident. They were proactive and accurate with time estimates which is rare for ER vets. I appreciate that they weren't pushy with any treatment plans, made sure to explain everything like the financial estimate and breakdowns multiple times, and that I understood everything that was happening every step of the way.
