If Anthropologie and your super-cool aunt had a love child and gave it impeccable taste and a wicked sense of charm, you’d get The Lark in Denver. You may go in looking for “just a card” and when you leave, you could possibly end up with three candles, a hand-painted wine glass, a velvet pumpkin (in April??). You may also end up with a strong sense that you may never financially recover—but wow, what a ride!! (allegedly).This place is dangerously delightful. Every corner is bursting with gorgeous, quirky, and just-plain-perfect gifts you didn’t know you needed until you saw them.The staff? Angels. Stylists. Possibly mind readers. One of them saw me aimlessly wandering in circles and gently guided me toward the perfect birthday gift for a close friend... a candle that smells like a Parisian bakery and doesn’t require me to buy a plane ticket or learn French.
