The Intro to sewing 4-class workshop is incredible. We all successfully created a tote bag, a lined zipper pouch, and a pair of pants. I hadn't touched a machine since the late 90s! The instruction is clear, well-paced, clearly demo'd. Coaching is personalized and warm. I feel confident sewing on my own now. The fun, funny, vibrant crew of women in my cohort was an added bonus. Lissa, the owner, is a warm and cool human, a knowledgeable and sharp instructor, and her studio is an asset to the community.

I had a blast taking a sewing "101" here. We made our own tote bags from start to finish, and I was really impressed with the quality of the teaching. We went over everything from how to use a sewing machine and load it with thread, to how to make seams, basically how to construct something. Fully reccomend!

Had an amazing experience taking the Bra Set workshop taught by Rose and the dress workshop taught by Lissa. Both instructors made the directions so understandable even though I was a beginner, and I had never used a serger before or worked with stretch fabrics. I completed two projects from the two workshops and they both turned out so cute! The studio is very well-equipped and the experiences were both amazing. Highly recommended!
