My sewing instructor took me to LindaZ's, I purchased a baby lock serger and am completely satisfied with my experience at Linda Z's Their services and expertise are outstanding. Classes to learn how to use your machine are well organized, fabulous teachers, and if you encounter a problem figuring something out (which I did) trust me, the knowledgeable staff are right there to assist you and resolve your concern. It is great, go and see for yourself!

The most amazing thing just happened! I got outstanding service and when I tried to tip to show my appreciation, it was refused! I bought my machine from Linda Z’s back in 2012 and for the first time in 11 years needed to bring it in to be serviced. The embroidery unit was working fine one minute and then it wasn’t. Lynn (not Linda!) spent over an hour with me and figured out the issue. She knew I came a long way (1.25 hrs) and was trying to avoid me having to make another trip and wait 3 weeks for it to be repaired. I am so grateful for her help and patience. Please patronize this business - they truly understand the concept of surpassing expectations.

I purchased a six needle machine on ebay which came damaged. Stupidly took it to a store in Milwaukee. That company had it for 3 1/2 months. When it was returned to me it barely limped along. After a year of toiling along I took the machine to Linda Z's. What a wonderful experience. They completely overhauled the unit quickly and efficiently. Everything works on it. They repaired the thread cutter, automatic needle threader, realigned the needles. I have a brand new machine now. So happy, I will certainly take the time to take it to a place where I know it will be taken care of and that place is "Linda Z's". Thank you all so much.

I JUST purchased my second machine today and again I was reminded why I go to Linda Z's. #1 Their patient knowledge of their machines. Not only have I been in their store numerous times but they are at every trade-show that I attend and their staff are fun and amazing. And those are some long days! #2 I was not pressured into buying anything other than what I wanted. Of course they make suggestions but it's based on your own skill level. Not a quota or a goal. #3. Service. With my last machine not only did I sign up for the free 'tutorial' classes' but this where I got my machine tune-ups and will again. #4. I've taken classes here and their staff are attentive and patient with all sorts of skill levels. It's about a community of sexists. And Linda Z's makes it fun!

I was very happy to find a place with such a great reputation to work on my recently acquired (not new) Pfaff long arm. The moment I walked into the store I was greeted by friendly faces and lots of help. They have a beautiful selection of fabrics ( I couldn’t resist buying some ). I know they’re gonna have my machine for a while, but I know it’s in good hands. Driving from Crest Hill Illinois to Arlington Heights Illinois was not a big deal. It’s important that we support small independent shops like this.

Back in 1980, I purchased my first sewing machine from Linda Z's, and it is still working beautifully, thanks to their outstanding service department. Since then, I have purchased an updated model that includes an embroidery module, and I also bought a serger with automatic air threaders for looper threads. I love using all three machines and was happy that Dennis and Mary helped me choose the perfect combination for my needs and budget. Not only does Linda Z's stock an excellent assortment of quality machines and fabrics, but you can find just about any specialty sewing notion there as well. The entire staff is personable and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to help you create! Even when you're not sure a desired project is feasible, they have the expertise to help problem solve. I attended very engaging classes that were included with each machine purchase, and I also enjoyed joining Linda Z’s sewing club, which offered both in-store or virtual classes that have been super f

I have been a customer of Linda Z's for 10+ years and I always recommend this store to anyone interested in sewing/wanting to purchase a sewing machine/wants to learn to sew or take classes in quilting. The staff always goes above and beyond to help you. I have taken several classes here from machine knowledge to quilt classes and have only had positive experiences and gained valuable sewing skills. They are experts in the craft and continue to advance with technology. They have a wonderful selection of quilting fabrics, threads, the best tool selection, and top of the line sewing machines (new & pre-owned). Their staff is passionate about what they do and they're ready to help.
