About School of Rock
School of Rock Fairfax District LA provides music lessons for kids and adults of all ages. Our music programs combine one-on-one drum, bass, piano, singing, and guitar lessons with group rehearsals, teaching students how to play together as a band. Together, students perform live music at real venues in front of live audiences. Through our performance-based music education approach, the School of Rock Method, students learn music and gain lifelong skills like collaboration, teamwork, and confidence. We also host a variety of themed music camps and workshops throughout the year, providing students of all ages and experience levels the chance to learn more about a specific music genre, notable band or artist, or musical era.

School of Rock songwriting camp was awesome. My kids learned so much in such a short time and had a blast playing their first show at the end of the week. The teachers at the school were so enthusiastic and supportive. My kids loved it and defitintley want to go back.

Since my son was little, he always had an ear for music. I signed him up at school of Rock to meet kids with similar interest and to learn and play music. Two years and 3 instruments later.. I highly recommend School of Rock. The teachers and staff are awesome and it’s where we have found a “happy place” for our Son. We look forward to watching our Son grow with School of Rocks programs.

Dennis Moon has proven to be a very energetic teacher with enthusiasm and good character. My son has expressed to me a lot of respect for him based on the 30min a week he spends with him. My son is always energized after a class with Dennis and motivated in a way I have never seen. 2 thumbs up for School of Rock

This was our first experience with School of Rock and we were incredibly impressed. I've never seen our son more comfortable at a camp. The environment encourages each kid to be independent. I love the way the instructors and staff communicate with the students. They have high expectations for the kids and the kids know it. It was a great experience and we look forward to becoming more a part of the School of Rock community.

School of Rock at Fairfax is a wonderful place. All of the instructors and staff are friendly, warm, and energetic, making it a great experience for parents and kids alike. They give feedback after every sesson. They encourage the kids to explore different types of music and styles, but also to use songs they already love so that practice is never a chore. I highly recommend them to anyone that has a kid that is interested in exploring and/or improving their rock skills!
