There were some amazing exhibits here! Several spots make you feel like you’re right in the tank with the fish, including overhead views and sections below the water level. It was much better than I anticipated. Visiting in the off-season … More

Fantastic aquarium! The employees were super knowledgeable & all of the exhibits were interactive. Our kids (age range from 6 to 16) all enjoyed themselves. We got there at 10am on a Saturday morning & had no issue finding parking in the aquarium lot ($20). 100% worth the 2.5 hour drive from Connecticut. We are already planning our next visit! Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes

The New York Aquarium on Surf Avenue is an absolute gem in Brooklyn. It offers a wonderful experience for visitors of all ages by perfectly combining education with entertainment. The exhibits are incredibly well maintained and provide a fascinating look into marine life from around the world. The Spineless and Ocean Wonders Sharks exhibits are particularly breathtaking. Watching the sharks and rays glide through the massive tanks is a truly immersive and peaceful experience. The staff members are consistently friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to share interesting facts about the animals and their conservation efforts. Its location right on the Coney Island boardwalk makes it the perfect destination for a day trip. You can enjoy the fresh sea breeze while learning about the importance of protecting our oceans. Whether you are a local or just visiting, this aquarium is a must see destination that leaves you with a much deeper appreciation for the wonders of the sea. Visited on We
