So glad my friend told me about the Music lab! It was such a unique experience of learning. The instruments are nice and the instructor was very knowledgeable. He answered my son’s all questions patiently and my son learned a lot just in a session. Nice and great vibes all around!We took a free trial lesson and sign up for monthly classes. Prices are great for the quality you get. Highly recommended :)

During that time I’ve seen SUCH an improvement in her skills - she even landed the lead roll in her school play!Everyone has always been SO sweet and welcoming. We’ve had such an amazing experience at Music Lab. Our 5 year old has been taking drum lessons with Sam for over a year, and it’s been such a joy to watch his skills grow. Sam is incredibly patient and knows how to make each lesson engaging for young kids. You can tell everyone here truly cares about what they do. The whole staff is so friendly, sweet and welcoming. We always look forward to the lessons. Can’t recommend them enough.

I was looking for a piano teacher for my 7-year-old son, and Bethy has been by far the best. She teaches with incredible patience and a great method, covering both the practical and theoretical sides of piano. She’s wonderful with kids, I highly recommend her.

Music Lab is great. Hailey, one of their violin teachers, helped my daughter prepare for the audition for Camerata Strings at CSUN Youth Orchestra. My daughter was accepted into the orchestra after about 18 months of lessons.My daughter also takes piano lessons and my son takes guitar lesson from Jonathan. Jonathan is amazing. He is very patient with the kids and always challenges them to strive for more. They love learning new pieces for the recital.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with drum lessons here. Thumbs up to all the teachers we’ve met, including the occasional substitutes—everyone has been great.When we started, we knew nothing about drums, but now we can play a variety of rhythms and recognize different styles. Jason, who teaches both my daughter and me, has been especially fantastic. He is an excellent drummer with knowledge of many techniques. By listening to what we play, he’s always able to point out where we should focus and how we can improve.I also really enjoy the annual showcase that Music Lab holds. It’s always at a great venue with excellent sound equipment, which makes performing and listening a wonderful experience.Highly recommend these lessons for anyone wanting to learn drums!

My son (age 5) is a few months into his piano lessons with Jonathan at Music Lab Northridge, and I can say i've already seen a great improvement in his skills and his love for learning piano! He was previously taking lessons at a different music school, but we wanted to look for other options due to his instructor's constant rescheduling. We love Jonathans dedication and the structure he provides!
