We have been absolutely thrilled with Northside Music Academy. The caliber of their teachers far exceeded my expectations, and Alin and his staff are so kind and pleasant to work with. They worked very hard to find an evening when all three of my kids could receive their instruction at the same time so I wouldn’t have to come more than once per week. My kids can’t wait to come to their lessons and we have been impressed with the progress they have made since they started. The recitals are well organized and fun and they even had a recital for the instructors to perform for their students last year (in celebration of their two year anniversary). Once again I was blown away by the instructors and level of talent at this school. I would recommend to anyone!

My daughter takes drum lessons with Mr. Robert at Northside Music Academy and we couldn't be happier with the service and quality of lessons. Mr. Robert is an excellent teacher and our daughter has grown tremendously over the past year. He's incredibly supportive and has a calm and nurturing approach which helps alleviate any stress she may have about trying a new song or practicing difficult beats. He encourages her to find music that she likes and drum along to it, which makes practicing fun. We appreciate Mr. Robert's support and guidance and look forward to many more great lessons with him! My daughter has been attending Northside Music Academy since they opened for flute lessons. The teachers and staff do an amazing job and are extremely professional. Although my daughter plays in her high school orchestra, her lessons give her the opportunity to work individually and the school ensures that all the students have plenty of opportunities to perform regardless of age or experience level. This helps build confidence and allows them the chance to show off their hard work for friends and family. We are so lucky to have a school of this caliber nearby.

My children have been to other music schools on the Northwest side of Chicago (Old Town, Flatts and Sharpe), and this school is the best we’ve found. Both of their teachers, Natalia (piano) and Nick (guitar), have a true passion for music and are great at inspiring that passion in our children. Their progress over the past few years is nothing short of amazing. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is serious about music. Northside Music Academy offers a variety of private lessons fit for any skill level or age. The school's location and décor provides quiet learning atmosphere while encouraging vibrancy. The variety of instruments and lessons offered is wonderful, and the only real question becomes "which instrument do I want to learn to play"? My 9 year old began piano lessons here two years ago and her progress combined with growing love for music has exceeded our expectations. I also have a drummer-to-be waiting to start lessons at Northside Music Academy, who got inspired by listening to other students' lessons and performances at the recitals organized throughout the year.

My son is 5yrs old, and he just started guitar lessons at Northside Music Academy a couple of months ago. He LOVES it. His instructor Robert has been phenomenal. He is patient, kind and detail-oriented. Due to an unavoidable scheduling change, we just had to switch to another instructor, Daniel. We have only had one lesson with Daniel, but he also seems to exude these qualities, and my son felt very comfortable and said he was very kind. Northside seems to be able to find kind, warm and talented teachers!

Love Northside Music! Ms Judith is absolutely the best voice teacher. My daughter loves her lessons with her. She is talented, patient and is always prepared with warm ups and exercises to grow your voice! She also goes where ever student are inspired with song choices. I highly recommend Northside Music Academy. Two of my kids have been taking lessons there for the past year (piano and drums). It was really convenient to schedule their lessons at the same time, and whenever I've needed to adjust our lesson time the office staff has made it easy to find a solution. It is a very warm and supportive atmosphere, and it is clear that everyone who works there is passionate about both music and kids. My daughter had previously studied piano with a different teacher, and her teacher at Northside Music Academy was very perceptive in identifying the strengths and weaknesses in my daughter's piano skills right from the start. Northside Music Academy is a great school for kids and not only. My daughter takes piano lessons since 2018 and her progress is amazing. The school is very well organized with many separate rooms for private lessons. The dedication and professionalism of the the teachers makes this a perfect environment for anyone who is determined to learn an instrument. Why this school is special in my opinion is that each student gets personalized lessons based on his /her level and you get to develop yourselves and become a better musician. I love the recitals where you get to see all the students perform live in front of all parents and guests. In my book this is 5 star Music School!!

Her guitar teacher Mr Nic is wonderful with the kids - patient and encouraging, gives her fun songs to learn and works with music she likes to keep her interested.
