I contracted McKinnon Painting to paint my living room and kitchen. They did a great job estimate was very accurate and I very happy with the speed at which they got it done. I found from hiring them as painters that they also did general contracting. I had them come do an estimate for complete remodel of my master bath. They did the demo and installed tile new counter tops and sinks. New lighting and I finally got the garden tub I have been wanting. I had help from the beginning with ideas on how to make it work and they did it. Prices were very reasonable and excellent professional job. I had such a positive experience with Jeff and Rob. I refinished two sets of very old and warped stairs. They came out, did a walk through, set my expectations for cost and timeline. We worked together to determine the best thing to do was to replace one full set of stairs and refinish my entryway floor. They were able to accommodate it all. They were super communicative, always on time, beyond polite and respectful - especially on days when I had to work from home. They were dependable and meticulous with the job. They truly went above and beyond and touched up walls and trim that were not part of the scope. The stairs were functional and the house was clean at the end of each day. They came back a week after the job was finished to do touch ups and seriously went thru with a fine tooth comb and made sure everything was perfect. I will 1000% work with them again on my next home project.

Jeff was recommended through a community network when we were having challenges with a different GC for a home renovation project (finishing third level) and considering replacing the prior GC. Jeff stepped in to take over from the prior contractor, and from the moment he was engaged, Jeff was communicative and helpful, keeping us in the loop on progress and scheduling. Jeff listened to understand our vision and intention for the space, but was also not afraid to offer suggestions from his own experience to help achieve the best outcome. With our whole family, including two young children, living in the home while the project was ongoing, Jeff, Rob, and the rest of the team were conscientious of our space, cleaning up every day and coordinating with us for the more disruptive portions of the work.
