I’ve been a customer for over 20 years. I used to drive clear across the county to an honest Toyota shop until they were sold; after a shop about a mile up the road told me my Lexus’ engine had seized and would have to be replaced, I remembered that a friend had mentioned having a good experience with this shop that’s under a mile away from me. I towed my car from the other shop and took a chance, telling the owner of Japanese Auto Tech that I’d been told my engine had seized and would have to be replaced. He called me a short while later to let me know that not only had the engine not seized, but that all I needed was a cleaning of the throttle body for under $50. They earned a customer for life that day and have never disappointed.
