Driven by lifelong passions for food and service, owner Ted Grady and chef owner Kevin Kelly continue to bring freshness and creativity to Chicago’s catering market. Our goal is to create a custom catering experience for our clients. Our event planners, service staff and chefs are ready to provide our clients with the best event experience. Beyond catering, J&L Catering supports many parts of the Chicagoland area including hospitality education, anti poverty organizations, green initiatives, donation efforts, the arts community, and the LGBTQIA+ community among others. J&L Catering is proud to lend a helping hand to support the city of Chicago.

Kyle, Alex and team are the best. So so easy to work with and the menu they helped us create for our wedding was amazing. Our guests won’t stop talking about it! I love how custom things are and how helpful they are throughout the whole process. Definitely recommend

Our event consultant, Evelyn, was so knowledgeable and detail oriented throughout the 8 months we had the privilege to work with her. She put our minds at ease any time we were stressed and proved it with how seamless the J&L service was. The apps, entrees and drinks were just as they were at our tasting and the service was so professional and courteous. You cannot go wrong with this company!
