We have been working with Kathryn for the past 3 years and I couldn't be happier with the experience. We went from a small condo in the city to a large home in the suburbs, and Kathryn has been great about helping us slowly tackle furniture, artwork, rugs and accessories one room at a time. She has helped us design and furnish entire rooms, given us ideas on how to use some of our existing pieces, and provided guidance on pieces we wanted to find ourselves. She is very responsive to questions, even when we don't have an active project going on. I really appreciate her detailed proposals and her mindfulness of time and budget for any particular project. She checks in frequently and keeps me involved in her process, so there are never any surprises come payment time (which has unfortunately not been my experience with other designers). We get so many compliments on the pieces she has selected for us, and she has been a tremendous resource in helping our house to feel like a home.

Katy is the perfect mix of practical and design savvy. In our first meeting, Katy helped me to prioritize which projects would achieve the biggest impact in my home. In addition to directing me on where to invest dollars and where we could save. We worked on several areas of my home in tandem...living room, hallway, master bedroom and guest room. Not to mention storage ideas and thoughts on future bathroom projects. The process was seamless and easy. We put a plan together in a few hours and we were off to the races. One of the most enjoyable experiences in working with Katy was the ability for me to add my own personal touches along the way. She really adapts to her clients in terms of how involved they would like to be. For me, I had lots of ideas that Katy helped me bring to life, streamline and balance. We began working with Kathryn and Design Inside in 2015, to revamp our living and dining room areas. Kathryn has a real eye for how to utilize space in a manner that's both aesthetically sharp and practical. The result almost seemed like an optical illusion: we increased both our living space and our storage space, and the rooms have a beauty and coherence that they didn't have before. Since then, we've worked with Kathryn to redesign both our bedroom and our kids' bedroom, and the results were equally great. This spring, we kicked off our biggest project yet: the kitchen. As with all of our other projects, Kathryn has been tremendously responsive to our needs and desires and has shaped them into plans that look great but also take into account practical and functional matters.
