I will NEVER go to another salon as long as I’m in Jersey! Douglas not only listened to my vision he brought it to life!! I had been to another salon recently in June and wanted a butterfly cut with brown hair and blonde highlights. What I left with was an uneven attempt at butterfly hair cut and an all around strawberry blonde hair color. Needless to say I was never going back there. I was now scared to try any place. I walked in to Douglas’ salon on an off chance that they had a walk in spot for color I wanted to at least have one solid nice color. I went to see Douglas after he came highly recommended by another hairstylist. I wanted to transform my hair from red to ash blonde. Let me start by saying my hair is very thin so it is extremely important to me to limit the amount of damage to my hair and a change from red to platinum/ash blonde is a big ask for any hairstylist let alone for my thin hair. He met with me first and did a test to assess how my hair would tolerate the job and how much damage it would do. The day of my actual appointment, we started it with a pre-treatment called Plastica which left my hair feeling strong and silky before my transformation. It was a long day but I must say I have NEVER had such a great experience at a hair salon! The entire team here is extremely nice and professional. They all work very hard to help each other out which is refreshing to see in the hair industry. They paid excellent attention to detail when it came to my hair for a transformation that I thought was not going to be possible

Maycon Douglas is truly one of the best hair colorists/stylists I ever been to. He is very professional and listens to his clients. I came to him with Ginger hair and wanted to go back to blonde. We had a consultation and he tested my hair to make sure it can take the bleach. After it was established that my hair was healthy enough he started the color correction, throughout the process he made sure my hair received multiple treatments to make sure it stays healthy. The color correction took over 6 hours but it was worth every minute. My hair looks absolutely beautiful and I’m obsessed with it.
