Staple Street Barbers was founded in 2025 by Master Barber Deni Mrkulić and a group of close friends who had been working in the neighborhood for a decade, with a vision of creating the cutting edge yet welcoming space that reflected the New York City they knew and loved. One that celebrated culture and art, but made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. A place to hang as much as a place of business. A barber shop the way it was always meant to be.

Absolutely wonderful. Came for a weekend vacation and my husband desperately needed a haircut. We saw they offer walk-ins and took our chances seeing that we’re not from NY. They were friendly, clean, and did an amazing job! They even gave my husband advice to take with him to his barber in SC! Would absolutely recommend! Got a haircut here for the first time, and it was a great experience. Pleasant space in a quiet part of Tribeca, with totally fair prices. And Creed – who was extremely thoughtful with the cut and its architecture/design – gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Will definitely be going back!

I’ve gotten a few cuts now at Staple Street and have been really impressed. Creed is a great barber for longish length full scissor cuts which is really hard to find. Shop is nice and the price is fair. Lots of shops seem to have all 5 star reviews these days. This one is actually good though.
