Last night our entire basement unit lost power suddenly, while the upstairs unit still had electricity. After getting nowhere with the utility company and feeling pretty panicked, we called the emergency line for A to Z Electric and were connected with Ron, who was an absolute lifesaver. He immediately began helping us over the phone, calmly walking me through what to look for and staying incredibly patient while I tried to find the things he was describing. He responded quickly, was professional, and clearly knew exactly what to check. He ultimately identified an outside service disconnect breaker that had tripped — something we didn’t even know existed — and safely restored our power. He also took the time to explain what happened and what to watch for going forward, which was incredibly reassuring. It’s rare to find someone who is not only technically excellent but also kind and patient when you’re stressed and scared. I would recommend Ron without hesitation and will absolutely b

Bob, Ron, and Frank were awesome. We got a quick quote from Barry and the team was able to come out a couple days later. They delivered top-level results in an older home that had a lot of issues. A couple days later I needed help installing an electric oven. I called A to Z, and 15 minutes later Bob was at my door ready to get the job done. Incredible!

Had a great experience. The first issue we had a few years ago Bob came out and said that the wire to the house was what was causing the problems ComEd had to come out and fix. But said we did have some old panel and wiring would need to be replaced eventually. 3 years later and he came out to fix the issues we were having in the house. He was prompt, friendly and reasonably priced but highly recommended him to friends and family Services Electrical panel replacement or upgrading, Electrical outlet & switch repair, Electrical wiring repair
