My daughter started school here this year and she loves it. She attends the conservatory program which is online academic classes from 9-12 and performing arts classes from 12-4. Anyone who is interested in giving their child a more thorough, well-rounded education that differs greatly from “traditional” schooling should seriously consider talking to one of the many great people who work at DAMPA :)

My daughter loves DAMPA voice lessons! She has had 2 different instructors over the years and they have both been great. She looks forward to going each week, and I enjoy hearing her practice between her lessons. I appreciate that DAMPA has encouraged her love of music and kept her actively seeking to improve her skills.

DAMPA is fantastic. The teachers genuinely love the kids and are skilled and the office staff is so easy to work with and always cheerful. My daughter is reaching new vocal heights every month!

DAMPA has been great for my children. Their teachers (and the other teachers) are always very friendly and encouraging. They are helpful and flexible with regards to scheduling. My older son has stuck with piano for 6 years and my younger son for 1.5. They enjoy the lessons. They are given multiple chances to perform each year via recitals and showcases with local venues. I highly recommend.

My long term dream has been to learn to play piano. Now that I"m retired, I decided to pursue this new challenge. I'm definitely not the average student at DAMPA. My piano teacher is Paul Davis. He is very accomplished and knows how to play a variety of styles. These includes blues, jazz, classical and worship. Part of the fun of the lessons is to talk about how different musicians approach each style. I have now completed 12 lessons. At first, I was frustrated because music is very removed from my previous career and music theory didn't make sense. But, I continued to wade through the new material and was starting to get it. Early on, there was a bit of memorization of scales and chords. I don't think you can get around this. Paul then explained the secrets to these which makes it easier to start to play songs. There's a pattern for scales. There's also a pattern for chords, starting with the major chords, minor chords and 7 chords. Once you learn the patterns, it opens a whole ne

My daughter started taking voice lessons with Mr. Paul last summer. He has been a perfect fit for her. He’s very skilled but also makes it fun. She has since done 2 long-running “camps” almost like seminars that focus on pop vocals. They are getting to reform at a coffee shop “showcase” and develop their confidence. You can take all kinds of classes ie piano, guitar, etc and the teachers truly love the kids and foster their love of music. I’m sorry we didn’t find this place years ago. Highly recommend!!!
